Giode digital card service terms
Effective October 27, 2026.
1. Who we are
The service is provided by Giode3D LLC, located in Aubrey, TX 76227. Contact: support@giode3d.com.
2. What the service is
Each digital card has its own link (for example, go.giode3d.com/XXXXXXXX) and QR code, to share it without a keychain; they don't change while the card exists. Cards can be subscribed to with or without keychains. Each Giode3D NFC keychain also carries a unique link. In the portal, the company decides what each keychain opens: an employee's digital card, the business page or a link (website, social profile, reviews). The company can create, edit, deactivate and delete cards, invite each employee to edit their own, and see how many times each link and each keychain was opened.
3. The account
You sign in with the company email and a password, which is created (or changed) with a one-time link sent to that email. The company keeps its password and access to that email safe, and tells us if someone signed in without permission. The company is responsible for what the people it invites do.
4. Employee data
The company states that it has each employee's permission to publish the details and photo it uploads to their card, and keeps them up to date. Any card can be deactivated or deleted at any time, even without a subscription. Deleting a card erases its details and photo from the service; backup copies are removed automatically within 90 days at most.
5. Subscription and payments
The service is billed monthly or yearly, in advance, through Stripe, by the account’s active cards: per card for small accounts and, from a certain number of cards, at a flat rate per tier, as shown in the pricing published at /tarjetas. When subscribing, the company chooses how many people; in the first period at least that quantity is billed, even if it hasn't loaded all its cards yet. When more cards are activated, the quantity (and, if the tier changes, the price) is adjusted on the next invoice, with proration; when cards are deactivated, too, unless in the first period it would fall below the quantity chosen when subscribing. Applicable sales tax is charged (in Texas, the tax on software as a service). The company can change its payment method, see its invoices and cancel from the Stripe portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. Periods already paid aren't refunded, unless the law requires it.
6. If there is no payment
Without an active subscription (and no free months left), keychains keep opening their last destination, but each card's own link and QR code say the card isn't available. Cards can't be created or edited and stats aren't available until payment resumes. If a charge fails, while Stripe retries it the links keep opening the cards, but they can't be edited. Deactivating or deleting cards is always possible.
7. Acceptable use
The service may not be used for illegal, misleading or offensive content, to impersonate another person or company, or to link to sites that harm whoever opens the card or taps the keychain. We may disable a link or card that breaks these rules, notifying the company.
8. Availability
The service runs on Cloudflare's network and is watched by an external monitor. We do what is reasonable to keep it available at all times, but we don't guarantee it will never fail. If a link is written directly on the chip (without going through Giode), it doesn't depend on this service, can't be changed and has no stats.
9. Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for the service is limited to what the company paid in the last 12 months.
10. Changes and governing law
If we change these terms, we'll email the company 30 days in advance. The laws of the State of Texas, United States, apply.
